LEGO Ideas 1950s Murray Torpedo Roadmaster Pedal Car by Jake Sadovich

LEGO models of automobile are obviously not new, be it official LEGO’s or LEGO MOC. In fact, we just saw one brilliant example from a movie franchise. But that has nothing to do with Jake Sadovich’s, aka JakeSadovich77, proposed LEGO Ideas set, the 1950s Murray Torpedo Roadmaster Pedal Car.

That’s right, folks. A Pedal Car. The creator behind the successfully supported, approved and sold LEGO Ideas Ship-in-a-Bottle has created an awesome-looking LEGO iteration of the 50s Murray Torpedo Roadmaster pedal car aka kiddie ride.

Now, that’s something really special. Simply because it is not the usual vehicle model, but a scale kiddie ride. Unfortunately, though, it is not life-size and obviously, it is not rideable.

Jake’s proposed 1950s Murray Torpedo Roadmaster Pedal Car measures 18 inches long, 9 inches wide and 9 inches tall (about 45.7 x 22.9 x 22.9 centimeters), packs in the region of 2,000 pieces and features include working steering and pedal assembly.

I don’t see a lot playability here, but it would make a good addition to any pedal car collector. If you like the idea and would love to see Jake Sadovich’s 1950s Murray Torpedo Roadmaster Pedal Car have a shot in becoming an official LEGO set, then head on down to ideas.lego.com and drop your one precious support.
