Of late, LEGO has finally taken adult fans of LEGO (AFOL) seriously. In recent times, there have a string of target-at-grown ups sets like the LEGO 71374 Nintendo Entertainment System, the LEGO Art sets, and the LEGO 42115 Technic Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 – just to name a few.
LEGO ain’t going to stop at buildable sets, though. It is planning a LEGO book for Adult Fans of LEGO. But LEGO has yet to decide on the topic. It has three topics in mind and they are as follows:

This book presents the bricks that made new building techniques possible, defined a toy theme, or signified a new era – the entire LEGO story told through 100 of the most iconic bricks. Each of the 100 bricks is presented with a fascinating, in-depth essay, and includes contributions from LEGO insiders, designer and experts.
The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks
Every LEGO brick has a story to tell. This book goes behind the scenes to uncover the secrets of how and why individual LEGO elements get designed and made, and how they each form part of the LEGO system. A detailed, in-depth and sometimes quirky look at the individual building blocks of the LEGO world, with contributions from LEGO designers, experts and more.
LEGO wants the community of adult collectors of LEGO to come forward to vote for the topic. You can do so at this website HERE.
While we do not know which book will be the chosen one and we have not idea the cover art, we do know that this book will be unlike other LEGO books. It will only be available for pre-order online around six months after the topic have been chosen and via LEGO’s collaboration partner, Unbound.
There are few tidbits with this what-could-be a highly collectible book. For starter, each pre-ordered book will have the person’s name printed on the back.
