Redmi did not stop at Redmi Note 12 Turbo Harry Potter Edition. There is also a pair of Redmi Buds 4 Harry Potter Edition too. For this special edition Redmi Buds 4 featuring Harry Potter, the charging case and the earbuds are given a complete makeover.
The charging case of the Redmi Buds 4 Harry Potter Edition is finished in a green hue with gold trimming that recalls the school of witchcraft and wizardry before rounding up with a Hogwarts crest. The beautiful green exterior is contrasted by a yellow inside.
Meanwhile, the cover on each earbud is given a deep green colorway and printed with the lightning scar found on young Harry Potter’s forehead. The entire package is a delight to see. At this point, any Potterhead will probably care less for the sound.
The Harry Potter treatment does not end there; Redmi has specially crafted a bag to carry this pair of special edition earbuds. Not sure what material was used to craft this uber-cool charging case bag, though.
The black carrier is debossed with many Harry Potter objects and decorated with a 3D Golden Snitch. Completing the bag is a wristlet connected to the bag via a matching gold ring.
Like the phone, this little device has its own unique Harry Potter-themed packaging too.
Spec sheet-wise, the Redmi Buds 4 Harry Potter Edition is a carbon copy of the stock Redmi Buds 4. This means a 10 mm driver, Bluetooth 5.2, a 3-mic active cancellation capable of removing sound by up to 35 decibels, up to 30 hours of battery life (up to 6 hours for earbuds), and an IP54 rating.
Oh, if you use it with a Redmi phone, it will have a Harry Potter-themed pop-out window.
The Redmi Buds 4 Harry Potter Edition will go on sale on March 31, 2023, in China, with an MSRP of 399 yuan (around US$58).
