Aston Martin has unveiled the DB12 Goldfinger Edition, celebrating 60 years of partnership with James Bond. And yes, the milking never stops, and looking at this homage to Goldfinger, I don’t it (the milking) should ever stop. Man, this car looks gorgeous!
The Aston Martin DB12 Goldfinger Edition car comes decked out in the famous Silver Birch paint that fans will recognize from the Goldfinger DB5—though you might not be outrunning villains, you’ll definitely look good trying. Then again, with 680 PS (671 HP) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque from its 4.0L V8 twin-turbo engine, it’d be hard for this ride not to outrun any car.
While the original DB5 came with gadgets to get 007 out of sticky situations, the DB12 Goldfinger Edition takes a more luxurious approach. Expect gold accents, a Prince of Wales check pattern in the cabin, and even a golden gear selector inspired by Bond’s tracking device from the movie. With only 60 cars available, this edition isn’t for just anyone—it’s for those who want to feel like they’re cruising through a high-stakes chase scene, minus the explosions. If you’re a fan of the Bond-Aston legacy, this is one super tourer that’s definitely shaken, not stirred.
