You know pickleball is on fire when Razer has a pickleball paddle, too. That’s right. Razer has a pickleball paddle, and like Tesla Motors, it is not in it alone. It has partnered with sports equipment maker JOOLA. But where Tesla’s paddle is all style and paddle tech, the Razer x JOOLA Limited Edition Pickleball Paddle—the Razer x JOOLA Perseus Pro IV 16mm—is literally embedded with tech.

Each paddle features an NFC chip that connects to the JOOLA Infinity App, allowing users to unlock exclusive content, pro tips, and an extended warranty. Unfortunately, that is as far as “tech” goes. It is not as high-tech as a Smart Tennis Sensor-equipped tennis racket. Anyhoo, as far as paddle tech goes, it boasts a raw carbon surface that enhances spin control and dwell time, letting players shape their shots with precision. Moreover, the paddle has received approvals from both USAP and UPA-A.
Aesthetically, the paddle features Razer’s triple-headed snake trademark and signature green accents. It is a striking paddle that is sure to turn heads in any pickleball game. The paddle made its competitive debut at the 2025 Pickleball World Championships in Dallas, wielded by world-renowned pickleball pro Ben Johns.
Since Razer is considered a gaming company, this marks the first-ever crossover between gaming and pickleball. I know. It is a bit of a stretch. I almost thought a gaming development was in the mix when I first read the headline.
Further reinforcing its gaming lineage, the paddle pays homage to gaming culture with an edition number of just 1,337 units. In the early 2000s gaming culture, “1337” is a nod to the slang “l33t” (pronounced leet), short for “elite.”
Speaking of which, notwithstanding the fairly expensive sticker of US$299.95, the paddle is sold out. Bummer. But at least you know it exists, right?
