Wait. Did we tell you about the Galaxy Buds3 Series earbuds? No? Never mind, because now there’s the Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Series. Revealed alongside the Galaxy S26 Series, the new Buds inherit the stem design introduced last generation. Yes, the Buds series has ditched the adorable round bean shape for the more conventional stem look.

I am still using the first-gen Galaxy Buds2 Pro, btw. It is still working great (read: still mind-blowing sound!), except the Purple soft-touch finish has turned mildly sticky and is showing signs of yellowing. Yes. Yellowing. On a purple finish. No prize for guessing the base color. Anyhoo, the new Buds promise even better sound. Not just better, but “ultimate”.
Samsung refined the Galaxy Buds4 series using data from hundreds of millions of ear shapes and over 10,000 simulations. The result is a slimmer blade design with smaller earbud heads and a more secure fit. The stems now include engraved pinch controls for easier playback adjustments, and the charging case gets a transparent clamshell design that finally lets you admire what you paid for.
The Buds4 Pro features a redesigned two-way speaker system with a wider woofer that increases vibration area by nearly 20 percent, paired with a tweeter for fuller bass and clearer highs. Both Buds4 Pro and Buds4 support 24-bit/96 kHz Hi-Fi audio, Samsung Seamless Codec HiFi, and 360 Audio. Adaptive EQ and Adaptive ANC automatically adjust sound based on fit and surroundings, while Super Clear Call improves voice clarity using machine learning.
Battery life reaches up to 7 hours on the Buds4 Pro without ANC and up to 30 hours with the 530 mAh charging case. The Buds4 delivers up to 6 hours without ANC and up to 30 hours with its 515 mAh case. Connectivity includes Bluetooth 6.1, Auracast, and Auto Switch. The Buds4 Pro earbuds boast IP57 protection, while the Buds4 are IP54 rated.
The Galaxy Buds4 Pro is available for pre-order, starting at US$249.99. The Galaxy Buds4, on the other hand, start at US$179.99.
