The Current Market For A Spy Action Movie
A point in favor of the new Mission Impossible is that spy stories are currently popular, with Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre starring Jason Statham already released in 2023. The Night Agent was released by Netflix in March and quickly became one of the streaming service’s most popular debuts and was almost immediately renewed for a second series.

Tom Cruise is back in the lead role as Ethan Hunt, trying to find a massively dangerous weapon that could wipe out most of the world’s population if it reaches the wrong person. The real secret to its success will be whether audiences are hooked by the new storyline and the characters that have been introduced to the series.
