By now, LEGO x adidas shoes aren’t new. There is a bunch of LEGO x adidas sneakers for all ages listed on adidas website. However, this pair of adidas Ultraboost DNA x LEGO Plates Running Shoes is different from what we have seen thus far.

adidas Ultraboost DNA x LEGO Plates Running Shoes is a pair of running shoes, obviously, but what’s not so obvious is, it is customizable with LEGO elements – thanks to the included LEGO Plates.

Granted, then customizable element is limited to the iconic three stripes, now referred to as LEGO brick 3-Stripes. Yeah, that’s about it. However, that does not make the adidas Ultraboost DNA x LEGO Plates Running Shoes any less alluring.

I can’t say adidas makes the best shoes (I have many pairs through years that never really last, sadly), but this pair is sure a collector’s worthy. That said, while the shoes is not wildly expensive (US$200), I cannot imagine anyone would want to wear it as a daily kicks.

Anywho, as far as the sneakers goes, it is, well, the Ultraboost. Meaning, it benefits from responsive Boost midsole, foot-hugging adidas Primeknit upper, sock-like fit, lace closure, textile lining, supportive heel counter, and for this model, it is made with Primeblue, a high-performance recycled material made in part with Parley Ocean Plastic.

In fact, of the 50% textile upper, 75% of the textile is Primeblue yarn. No virgin polyester was used.
