LEGO 42124 Off-Road Buggy RC Car

LEGO 42124 Off-Road Buggy lets you build an off-road buggy just like you remembered it, but with awesome LEGO elements. It comes complete with electronic components, which include a hub and two large motors, functional front and back suspension, and it promised to deliver realistic driving experience enabled through CONTROL+ app.

Like the regular RC car counterparts, the building process is a great way to get kids to learn about the engineering and technology of a RC car and to some extend, a real car.

What really sold me was the nostalgia this toy brings about. I am guessing more grown-ass person like me who grew up in the 80s will be smitten by it than today’s kids. Oops.

Anywho, like the classic RC toy cars, it is capable of jumping and pulling off tricks. And oh, it has sound effects too.

The LEGO 42124 Off-Road Buggy RC Car further features massive rubber tires, opening hood, antenna, and colorful retro color scheme consummates with 80s-inspired sticker details. It looks exactly like the 80s RC car. The only thing that is missing is the smell of nitro.

When built, it measures over 5 inches (13 cm) tall (less the antenna), 11 inches (28 cm) long and 6.5 inches (16 cm) wide.
