The first LEGO Harry Potter sets appeared in 2001, coinciding with the released of the first Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (Warner Bros., 2001).
Man, it seems like it was just in recent years. But 20 years it has been and LEGO is celebrating two decades of LEGO Harry Potter with exclusive golden minifigures which LEGO said, via its social media posts, will be appearing in anniversary sets “soon”.
But just how soon is “soon” is unclear. In any case, fans of Harry Potter/collectors of minifigures may want to take note and keep your eyes peeled on the various LEGO social media platforms.
