bamboo case for your smartphone is not new but a smartphone crafted out of a single piece of four-year old, organically grown bamboo is something unheard of until now. no, the next iPhone is not going to be clad in bamboo but rather, we are talking about ADzero, a smartphone conceived by British student Kieron-Scott Woodhouse who hails from the Middlesex University. detailed specifications are still sparse at this moment but what we do know is that it will be Android-powered smartphone and the phone will sport a main camera with the flash circling the lens, forming a ring flash. the latter is said to give a more even lighting on its subject and eliminates shadows. the good news is, this phone is not a concept cos’ it is destined to be available sometime this year but only in China and UK for a start. though, you can argue that the phone overall shape is nothing radical but you can’t deny that the unibody bamboo shell does make it a little more attractive than the current offerings in the market. hit the jump a small gallery of the ADzero Bamboo Smartphone.
