did you managed to catch the latest Iron Man flick? if you did, did you notice the Alcatel One Touch Idol smartphone was used in the movie? granted that hero Stark may not have used it to warrant the Idol the celebrity status, but that doesn’t make it any less desirable, especially now it comes unlock and cost just $300 a pop in Stateside. equipped with a 4.7-inch qHD multitouch IPS display, the Idol features an ultra slim profile of just 7.9mm thin and tips the scale at just 110 grams (3.88oz.), making it the lightest handset in its class. other features include a dual-core 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD (supporting up to 32GB), a HDR-capable 8MP main camera (with LED flash and all), a 2MP front-facing camera, 1080p video playback and HD video recording, built-in FM radio, a 1,800 mAh battery pack for up to 415 hours standby time, plus the usual suspects of connectivity and sensors such as quadband GSM (3G) radio, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS, DLNA, G-sensor, e-compass, accelerometer, and light and proximity sensors.
