Forget about traditional wheelbarrows because, Allsop WheelEasy is here to change how you load up stuff onto a wheelbarrow. While WheelEasy stays faithful the the traditional wheelbarrow geometry, i.e. the triangular geometry with a pair of handles on one end and a wheel serving as the fulcrum point and mobility, it is anything but traditional. Instead of the usual steel or hard plastic tray or bed, it has a vinyl-coated tarpaulin for its bed but lack of leg support which allows it to be laid flat on the ground to facilitate easy load up of whatever you desire, be it rocks, soil or whatever.
The fact that you can sweep debris right onto it instead of using a dustpan or a shovel is already a major win to me. With that being said, I guess you could say WheelEasy is, in a way, like a giant dustpan on wheel. Moreover, by having a tarp-based bed, it ensures whatever you load onto the tarp, stays at the center and therefore incidents of unbalanced load or toppling over will be the distant past. If it the load isn’t in the center at the point of loading, it will be the moment you lift it up.
Unloading also defies convention. It can be unloaded on both ends too – something you can’t do with a traditional wheelbarrow without toppling. Trust me. I have tried that, but don’t ask why I did what did. WheelEasy also one-up traditional wheelbarrow in another area: storage. When not in use, WheelEasy collapsible design, along with the foldable nature of tarpaulin bed, allows it to be collapsed into a flat frame that can be stored without taking a whole lot of space.
Without a steel or hard plastic bed, WheelEasy weighs significantly less too and therefore, allowing it to be easily hang on the hook on a shed without the risks of it ripping out the hook, or worst, tearing up the shed’s wall. Well, you know what? I am completely swooned. Being a person who does quite bit of sweeping of garden debris and loading it up to a wheelbarrow to be disposed, WheelEasy is without a godsend invention.
And because it does not look like traditional wheelbarrow also means that, for the first time, you can bring whatever you want to bring to a day out on the beach on a wheelbarrow without looking awkward. So, yeah. It is for leisure too, not just for gardening.
