Amazon Dash Button

As a busy (or on the opposite spectrum, lazy) person, forgetting to top up your essentials like K-Cup, laundry detergent, shaving blade are part and parcel of you life, but you really don’t have to if you subscribe to Amazon Dash Button. If ‘Dash’ sounds vaguely familiar to you, well, that’s because it works pretty much like the Dash, except each of these buttons is for reordering of expendable products and each button is specific to a product. It works with a companion app, letting you preset the button for say, Gillette, to order for example, shaving blades whenever the button is depressed. If your supply of shaving blades is running low, all you have to do is hit the “Gillette” Dash Button and Amazon will deliver it to you as quickly as possible.

Amazon Dash Button

You can have as many Dash Button for each commonly used product, which means you can have one button to take care of your caffeine needs, one for laundry detergent supply and so on and so forth. But one convenience shouldn’t add another inconvenience like over ordering, which is why the Dash Button can be set to respond only to your first press until the order is delivered and so there is no worry that junior or Fido starts having fun with the button and start piling up orders that you do not need. Further peace of mind is offered by an order alert, which will be sent to your smartphone, so if you changed your mind, cancelling will be as easy as ordering. Sounds like a world of convenience, isn’t it? There’s a catch though, it is available to Prime Members and it is by invitation only. Keep going to catch a video to see how Dash Button works.
