It would be nice if we can harvest the energy of Cybertron to power your Earthly gadgets. Unfortunately, Cybertron isn’t real and so are Transformers but you can still trust the transforming alien robots to charge your devices – thanks to the Anker x Transformers GaNPrime Charger and Power Bank. Not going to lie. I was surprised to see Transformers co-branded electronics outside of China. Usually, good stuff like these does not go beyond China’s borders.
There are two Optimus Prime-themed charging devices: the Anker 735 Charger (GaNPrime 65W) and Anker 733 Power Bank (GaNPrime PowerCore 65W). Both devices are from Anker’s existing lineup but presented in a black and silver colorway and feature a line art of Optimus Prime, and red accents. Beyond cosmetics, they are the same as the Anker 735 Charger and the Anker 733 Power Bank. No Cybetronian tech.
The Anker 733 Power Bank (GaNPrime PowerCore 65W) is a 2-in-1 charger, featuring a 65W wall charger and a 10,000 mAh portable charger in one portable package. The Anker 733 Power Bank (GaNPrime PowerCore 65W) is outfitted with 2 USB-C ports and one USB-A port, allowing you to charge three devices simultaneously.
It features Anker’s most advanced GaN-powered charging system, an innovative stacked design, PowerIQ 3.0 for higher efficiency, and ActiveShield 2.0 for intelligent temperature monitoring.
Meanwhile, the Anker 735 Charger (GaNPrime 65W) is a wall charger armed with 2 USB-C ports and 1 USB-A port, allowing you to charge your phone, laptop, and earbuds, for example, all at once. As the product name implies, 65W is shared power. This means you can charge up to 65W when connected to one device.
The Anker 735 Charger (GaNPrime 65W) also benefits from PowerIQ 4.0 technology, featuring Dynamic Power Distribution, which detects the power needs of the connected devices and adjusts the power according to ensure faster and more efficient charging. Finally, there is the ActiveShield 2.0 which intelligently monitors the temperature over 3 million times per day and adjusts the power output to safeguard the connected devices.
