If you are haven’t already heard, Apple has launched the new MacBook Air featuring the M3 chip that revealed last October. The new MacBook Air with M3 chip promises up to 60% faster performance than its M1 counterpart and up to 13 times faster than the fastest Intel-based MacBook Air.
This new model boasts improved AI capabilities thanks to a more efficient Neural Engine, supports up to 24 GB of unified memory, and offers hardware-accelerated mesh shading and ray tracing for enhanced gaming experiences. Both the 13- and 15-inch models feature a Liquid Retina display, up to 18 hours of battery life, support for up to two external displays, and 2x faster Wi-Fi connectivity.
The MacBook Air comes in four colors and includes a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, a three-mic array, and an immersive sound system supporting Spatial Audio. It also features MagSafe charging, a silent fanless design, and runs macOS for a comprehensive user experience.
Available for order with availability starting March 8, the MacBook Air with M3 chip sets a new standard for performance and portability in Apple’s laptop range. The new MacBook Air featuring the M3 chip is available for order from March 4 on Apple’s website and app across 28 countries, including the U.S., with deliveries and in-store availability starting March 8.
Pricing for the 13-inch model begins at US$1,099, while the 15-inch version starts at US$1,299, available in four colors: midnight, starlight, silver, and space gray. Additionally, the 13-inch MacBook Air with M2 chip now starts at $999 ($899 for education), in the same color options.
