Aston Martin x Brough Superior Motorcycle

The folks over at Aston Martin must have thought it isn’t right that they did not have the land transportation covered and yet, already, they have a boat and a submarine and have plans to get into personal air transportation. Well, now it has a motorcycle too, therefore it does kind of has the land transportation covered at this point.

That’s right. There is now an Aston Martin motorcycle. Called AMB 001, this sports bike of futuristic proportion was developed by Aston Martin with Brough Superior, the legendary British motorcycle maker which was resurrected in 2013 by vintage motorcycle enthusiast Mark Upham.

Long story short, Aston Martin motorcycle is real and it is a track-only, strictly limited edition two-wheeler with just 100 examples. It is powered by a V-twin turbocharge motor – the first for Brough Superior – that produces 180 horses and has a dry weight of just 180 kilograms (397 lbs).

The AMB 001 proudly wears the Aston Marin wings. And that not just regular Aston Martin wings. It is the ultra-lightweight, nine-micron stainless wings that adorn the Aston Martin Valkyrie.
