Well, it is the replica of the 1980 CX2600-A model which looks exactly like the video game console you remembered but only smaller. What’s cool about this new reboot video console is it includes support for original Atari 2600 and 7200 cartridges.

Retro enthusiasts will be thrilled as nearly 600 tested games boast a whopping 99% compatibility rate with the Atari 2600+. Atari.com hosts an updated compatibility list for enthusiasts to check their collections.

The console arrives with iconic titles like Adventure and Missile Command, mirroring the original 4-switch Atari 2600 system using modern tech. Nostalgia reigns with the inclusion of the CX40+ Joystick Controller, faithfully replicating the ’70s and ’80s gameplay experiences.
