as far as hard specs are concerned, little is known about this “Aurum Dust” colored BMW Concept M4 Coupe – which means there’s no information of what goes under the hood or whatsoever. the wrap was taken off this striking concept on August 15 at the BMW opening media reception for the iconic annual Pebble Beach/Monterey automobile weekend. apart from that, what you get from the PR text is the usual marketing-meet-design materials with no effort to divulge anything further than what’s on the outside. we can see that its dynamically sculpted front has large air inlets – a hint of the power it will be blessed with – just below the iconic BMW M double bar kidney grill which in turn, is flanked by twin round headlamps featuring LED technology. CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastics), incorporated into the design to keep the weight of the ride down, is found in areas and parts such as the front splitter, the contoured roof, as well as the rear diffuser.
other known features include an integrated rear spoiler lip on the trunk for optimum downforce, side M gills with Air Breather that works in sync with the front air inlets to channel air for cooling the wheel arches, bicolored 20-inch M light alloys rolling stocks (in the familiar M double spoke design), M Carbon ceramic brakes, flared wheel arches, and twin tailpipes, a characteristic M feature, wrapped in carbon fiber. well, that’s all we know about this beautiful ride for now – everything else would have to wait and see. in the mean time we have prepared a small image gallery of the Concept M4 Coupe, along with a short clip, for your visual pleasure, which you can find after the break.
