BOLDR Expedition Automatic Field Watch

Remember BOLDR? The fairly young watch that dare challenge the convention in terms of design and price point? Well, it is back and this time, it wants to take you on an adventure with BOLDR Expedition Automatic Field Watch (actually, more like you taking it on an adventure). Inspired by tactical timepieces dated as far back as WWII, BOLDR Expedition Automatic Field Watch is bold and handsome statement that you have come to expect from BOLDR Supply Co. Like its first model, the attention to detail is impeccable and you know what this means; it is beautiful.

It is offered in six colors, sports a 316L stainless steel or PVD case, paired to a canvas strap featuring calf leather lining and brass eyelets for a touch of military vibe. The lens is, as expected, the brand’s signature double domed sapphire crystal, treated to to anti-reflection coating, no less. Sapphire element can also be found on the see-through screw-down case back, letting you in on its inner working. From the side, the watch looks particularly spectacular. We just love the straight, minimalist design.

Other noteworthy details include a 41 mm case size (48 mm, lug-to-lug), inner ratchet bezel, Swiss-made Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement with 38-hour power reserve, date window at 4 o’clock, and finally, it won’t be a complete military-inspired, tactical expedition watch without a matte dial with Swiss superluminova hour markers, printed logo and subtitles, and minute track.

As before, BOLDR has taken to Kickstarter to peddle its latest ware where you can pick one up as a pre-order for as low as 539 SGD, or US$389. The campaign went live on the 1st, but it has already met its funding goal and so, yeah, your pledge is indeed a pre-order which the company aims to fulfill in May 2018.
