BRABUS is certainly no stranger to motorcycles, but an electric bike? Well, that’s the first. Folks, meet the new BRABUS Urban E First Edition, an electric bike out of the collaboration between the German tuning house and DAB Motors. Unveiled at Milan Design Week 2026 in April, the BRABUS x DAB Motors collaboration consists of three models built on the modular DAB 1α platform. Keep going for a quick rundown of each model.
DAB 1α BRABUS

The entry-level model focuses on design enhancements rather than major mechanical changes. It features exposed carbon-fiber components, gloss and matte black finishes, and retains the standard electric drivetrain producing 23 kW (31 hp) and 395 Nm (291 lb-ft) of torque. Top speed is 120 km/h (75 mph) with a claimed range of up to 150 km (93 miles).

This is where BRABUS starts turning the wick up. An upgraded inverter, revised motor mapping, bespoke carbon-fiber cooling ducts, and additional styling elements boost output by around 20 percent. The result is 27 kW (37 hp) and 475 Nm (350 lb-ft) of torque. Like the base model, it tops out at 120 km/h (75 mph) and offers up to 150 km (93 miles) of range.
BRABUS Urban E First Edition

The collector’s version of the URBAN E. Mechanically similar to the URBAN E but finished in four BRABUS-inspired colorways:
- Peetch
- Desert Sand
- Superviolet
- Fusion Red
Each color is limited to just 10 units, for a total production run of 40 motorcycles worldwide. Premium leather seats and color-matched details further elevate the exclusivity.
Common specifications
All three motorcycles share the same core architecture, including a 72 V lithium-ion battery pack with a 7.1 kWh capacity, a carbon belt drive system, and a claimed range of up to 150 km (93 miles) on a single charge. Top speed is rated at 120 km/h (75 mph), while charging from 50 to 100 percent takes around 1.5 hours. A complete charge can be achieved in under four hours using either a standard household outlet or a Type 2 charger.
The bikes are not merely rolling design statements, either. The chassis is equipped with a 46 mm inverted front fork, an adjustable rear shock absorber, and a Brembo front braking system with a four-piston radial caliper biting on a 320 mm (12.5-inch) front disc. At the rear is a 240 mm (9.4-inch) disc brake. Riders can choose from five riding modes—Eco, Street, Sport, Nitrous, and Reverse—while a 2.8-inch LCD keeps essential information in view. A keyless PIN-code start system rounds out the modern feature set.
The collaboration
The collaboration is essentially BRABUS applying its “One-Second-Wow” philosophy to electric motorcycles, which is very on-brand for the German tuners and, if I can be honest, what people love about the big B marque. Instead of building a motorcycle from scratch, it took DAB Motors’ already minimalist electric platform and infused it with carbon fiber, aggressive styling, premium materials, and exclusive limited-edition variants. The result is a collection of electric motorcycles that sit somewhere between urban commuter, design object, and collector’s item.
Pricing and availability
The BRABUS Urban E First Edition starts at €32,500 and is limited to 10 for each color. The DAB 1α BRABUS starts at €16,900. It is released in limited numbers, though exactly how many is unknown. Finally, the BRABUS Urban E commands €22,900. It is also released in limited numbers, and how many is also unclear.
