Whisky appreciation goes beyond the tastebuds; it is also about the collectibility and the design of the vessel that contains the delightful alcoholic beverage. If you share the same beliefs, then you are going to love the Limited-edition CALLUM x Annandale Distillery Whiskies.
To mark World Whisky Day on 18 May 2024, CALLUM and Annandale Distillery released their second collaborative whisky, the ‘CALLUM 003 by Annandale’.
This single-cask, single malt, peated Scotch whisky is bottled at cask strength and is part of a six-whisky series. CALLUM 003 has been aged in a fresh bourbon cask since January 2015, presenting a pale, straw-like golden appearance and a complex flavor profile with hints of dried fruits, toffee, black treacle, salted caramel, and smoky notes.
Encased in a bespoke ceramic bottle finished in ‘Pearl White’ glaze, it comes in a ‘Sunrise’ yellow presentation case.
Only around 230 bottles, at 58% ABV, will be available for pre-order at £350 each (about US$445), with deliveries starting in late summer 2024.
