i seriously suspect there is an unofficial race for the most expensive gadgets in the world. latest to join the pricey line gadgets is this diamond-encrusted iPad from Camael Diamonds. the London-based firm claims that it is the world’s most expensive iPad and with a price tag of around $1.2 million, we have little doubt about it. however, even with its hefty price tag, it is still shy from Stuart Hughes’ iPad 2 which carries a mind-boggling 5 millions UK pounds (about US$8.2 million) price tag.

for a supercool $1.2 million you will get about 1 kilogram worth of 18 carat gold and 300 carats worth of perfect diamonds. the back and the rim are grace with white diamonds, while the home button and the Apple logo are encrusted with contrasting black diamonds. wow. it is simply dazzlingly awesome. auto-mania flaunt their wealth with super cars embellished with Swarovski crystals and gold, but this one is reserved for the super rich gadget-mania. however, if diamonds a little too ‘sissy’ for you, there is the solid gold iPad for a budget price of just £89,999 (about $147,355). isn’t that sweet?
