Cambridge Soundworks has officially join the mega-sized Bluetooth speakers bandwagon with its Cambridge Soundworks OontZ XL Bluetooth Speakers. the OontZ XL is the company’s largest Bluetooth speaker which is roughly two times the size of the OontZ and OontZ Angle. naturally, along with upsizing comes with higher output (three times more) generated from its dual precision drivers and not one, but three passive radiators (known as the Tri-Radiator Design). despite having a size in the league of Big Jambox, it weighs significantly lesser at just 1.85 pounds or about 839 grams which makes it a whole lot more portable, or at least less of a chore to be lugging it around and a built-in lithium-ion battery offers up to 10 hours of continuous playback time.
as with most Bluetooth speakers available today, it also features a built-in microphone for performing as a wireless handsfree speaker phone for conference calls and the likes. honestly, we didn’t think it has the killer look, but then again, who’s complaining when it cost just 100 bucks? keeping in mind that Cambridge Soundworks is a pretty damn good audio equipment maker. back to look, we suppose we owe it to you to check it out the aesthetic yourself – which can do by checking out the handful of images in gallery below.
