Celebrating its 100 years in the business of making and selling headwear, New York-based New Era Cap Company, has teamed up with Casio G-Shock to release a commemorative timepiece.
The Casio G-Shock x New Era GM110NE-1A Watch is presented in a gold against dark gray colorway that features a black and gold flag (New Era’s logo) at the 3 o’clock position on the a black and gold watch face.
The watch further features an engraved gold IP case back and a special packaging bearing the inscriptions “100,” 1920-2020,” paying homage to the brand’s storied history.
The timepiece has a dark gray metal-forged case with polished IP bezel enriched with, you guessed it, gold lettering to match the gold and black analog-digital dial.
The watch comes packaged with two interchangeable bands, including a black cloth lined with green on the underside which is a nod to the sought-after 59FIFTY cap, gold buckle and band keepers and embroiled New Era flag on the strap, and a sleek gold-specked black urethane band with a branded stainless-steel keeper in gold.
Beyond the New Era-centric cosmetics, the Casio G-Shock x New Era GM110NE-1A Watch boasts the usual G-Shock GM110 features, including 200-meter (660 feet) water resistance, shock and magnetic resistance, Super Illuminator Auto LED Light, 5 multi-function alarms with 1 snooze alarm, world time, 1/100th second stopwatch, countdown timer, 12/24-hr format, full auto calendar, and a 3-year battery.
