CMF by Nothing Headphone Pro

It looks like Nothing’s sub-brand CMF isn’t done raiding the affordable audio scene. After serving up a buffet of earbuds like the CMF Buds 2+ and Buds 2A, CMF has now gone full over-ear. Meet the CMF Headphone Pro, a pair of cans that look premium and fun, but do not have the associated sticker.

This one goes for just US$99, which is kind of wild given the specs. It rocks a 40 mm custom dynamic driver with a nickel-plated PEN+PU diaphragm for tight, clear sound. It supports LDAC, AAC, and SBC, and it is Hi-Res certified, both wired and wireless. The adaptive hybrid ANC kills up to 40 dB of noise, while Audiodo-powered hearing profile tuning and Cinema/Concert spatial modes complete the “budget audiophile” vibe.

In the battery department, you’re looking at up to 100 hours of playback with ANC off and 50 hours with ANC on, while a quick 5-minute top-up nets 5 hours of listening. It has Bluetooth 5.4, dual-device pairing, a roller dial for volume, a tactile Energy Slider for bass and treble, and a customizable button that can call up ChatGPT, toggle ANC, or mute your mic.

Style-wise, it’s unmistakably CMF. The 283g headphones feature swappable ear cushions (in orange or green, sold separately) and come in Light Green, Dark Grey, or Light Grey.
