Domino’s Pizza has been at the forefront of delivery. Well, “forefront” in the area of novel ways of delivery, that is. It has delivered pizza with a reindeer in Japan, a drone in New Zealand, and an autonomous vehicle in Australia, for example. OK. Perhaps, a reindeer is not quite “forefront” per se but I am pretty sure fulfilling delivery orders in a jetsuit like Iron Man is.
Recently, at the Glastonbury festival (June 21-25, 2023), Domino’s UK surprised its customers by using a jetsuit to deliver orders. Domino’s UK posted this unique delivery method on its Instagram page. While it did not actually mention who supplied the “jetsuit”, it is clear that British millionaire Richard Browning’s Gravity Industries helped made it possible.
In the video posted on Instagram, the delivery agent can be seen landing among the tents. There is no actual video of the flight, though. Someone, however, snapped a pic of one of the delivery agents taking off in a jetsuit outside of the Domino’s UK outlet.
