We have always thought GravaStar’s products are very mech-like and are a match made in heaven with franchises like Transformers and Mobile Suit Gundam. And if you have read our reviews of GravaStar products, you will notice that we often pair them with Transformers figures for our product shoots. And it looks like this matrimony with Transformers is inevitable as last month, GravaStar revealed a collaboration with the Transformers franchise in China.
For this collaboration, the GravaStar Alpha65 Fast Wall Charger and the GravaStar Sirius P5 TWS Earbuds were given the Transformers colors of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. Unfortunately, for fans of Decepticons, there are no products in Megatron, Starscream, or Soundwave colors – at least, not yet. We are hopeful. Well, not that we can buy it because due to the licensing agreement, the Optimus Prime and Bumblebee editions Alpha65 and Sirius P5 TWS are not available outside of China. Ugh. It is a huge bummer, IMHO.
However, there is a consolation. If you are so inclined, the Alpha65 is available in Optimus Prime color, known as “war-damaged blaze blue” but without the Autobot logo, Transformers branding, and the graffiti-style Optimus Prime name. Though, this color is limited to the fast-wall charger, not the P5. If you are down, the Alpha65 in “war-damaged blaze blue” is available to buy from gravastar.com for US$59.95.
