Hamdog Hamburger and Hotdog Burger by Mark Murray

You are familiar with hamburger and you know very well what is a hotdog, but do you know Hamdog? I bet you haven’t but it is not hard to imagine what it is, isn’t it? Hamdog is exactly what sounds like, a hybrid of a hamburger and a hotdog, or you can think of it as a lovechild of a hamburger and a hotdog. The result is kind of, ermmm, weird as far as look goes. As you can imagine, the burger has a fairly regular patty, except that this patty isn’t in one piece; instead it splits in the middle, thus allowing a space for a hotdog to lay across. Finally, odd shape buns, i.e. buns in the shape as you would expect when a round disc cross a long cylinder would look like, completes the delightful package.

Hamdog is definitely not a giant leap for mankind, but it sure is a convenient way to consume both loves at one go. Imagine the time you could have save and the unique taste of mix mash of beef patty and hotdog in your mouth as you chomp them down. Anyways, those in around Perth and Western Australia should have seen these Hamdogs as Mark Murray, the inventor of Hamdog, has been serving this unique burger in fairs and markets since after his failure to secure an investment from the straight face investors on Shark Tank back in 2015.

Sorry that they think it is weird, which they shouldn’t really cos’ how can Hamdog possibly be any weirder than live beetle worms, right? Absolutely, not and if anything, we think it is awesome but one question though, do you have it in chicken? Cos’ beef isn’t really my cuppa. Anywho, Hamdog is really nothing to laugh about. You’d be laughing at U.S. patent office if you laugh at it because it did obtained a patent for it in 2009 as “combination hamburger hot dog bread bun.” Ok, maybe not the entire burger is patented, but at least the bun is and so you can’t copy it without stepping on Mark’s toes. Damn, am I hungry after writing this. The Hamdog, btw, cost $8 a pop (presumably, Aussie money).
