What are the odds that a high-fashion lover is also a big fan of Doraemon? I’d say its rare. Hello Kitty absolutely. But probably not for an anime/manga that is less international like Doraemon. Then again, looking at what Doraemon x Gucci Capsule Collection has to offer, perhaps even non-fan of the cat-like robot will dig the collection.
There’s nothing too fancy. The Doraemon x Gucci Capsule Collection managed to tastefully incorporate the title character into Gucci’s products. There are a few bags featuring Doraemon against Gucci monogram. The predominately blue and white cartoon character makes for a good contrast.
Other pieces include apparels and a pair of slipper covered a horde of Doraemon in various poses against a brown/bronze monogram. There are a few bags with in which the cat-like robot appeared in number. For those who rather not have Gucci monogram, there are other pieces too.
Usually, this kind of collab capsule is limited to a few products, but the Doraemon x Gucci Capsule Collection is not your usual collab collection. It has a lot of Doraemon decorated products to choose from. Anything from bags to phone case to apparels. It is a dream come true for high fashion loving manga fans.
