Clearly, the H.I.S.S. Tank is the pride and joy of the COBRA. How else do you explain they “convinced” the folks at Hasbro to produce even more of this super cool combat vehicle to coax your money out of your wallet—if there’s even any left. Joining the growing number of H.I.S.S. Tanks in the market, including a transforming Megatron H.I.S.S. Tank and a brick-built version, is one ready for arctic duties.

This new Classified Series #216 Arctic Assault H.I.S.S. is essentially a winter-grade version of COBRA’s favorite armored ride, upgraded for snowy conflict. It measures 50 cm long, 32 cm tall, and 22.9 cm wide (19.6″ × 12.6″ × 9″), which means it is large enough to look serious, yet small enough to fit on a shelf without causing territorial disputes with other collectibles.
The cockpit opens via gull-wing panels, with actual interior dashboard detailing and a Cobra-branded five-point harness—for safety, or dramatic posing, whichever is needed. Behind that sits a storage platform for troop transport, complete with functional handrails. Beneath it lies a cargo bay that holds a jump seat, tool rack, axes, shovel, and two canisters. Because nothing says “elite military unit” like well-organized gardening equipment.
Weaponry has also been reconfigured for cold-weather battles. Instead of the heavier cannons seen previously, this Arctic H.I.S.S. now carries twin Hissruptor laser systems plus Snow Sabre rockets on the rotating turret—ideal for dealing with whatever the G.I. Joe SnowCAT is plotting.
It comes with the Arctic Assault H.I.S.S. Driver, outfitted for sub-zero operations and trained for cold-weather deployment, airborne drops, and probably complaining about frostbite. Sorry. No onsite doc to deal with that. This driver can only be careful and be even more careful.
The G.I. Joe Classified Series #216 Arctic Assault H.I.S.S. with Driver is priced at US$199.99. Pre-orders are open, and yes—COBRA found another reason for you to buy another tank. I almost sold, but thankfully, an empty wallet always has a strong argument and wins.
