Joining the tactix 7 lineup, the new tactix 7 AMOLED Edition is a high-performance smartwatch featuring an adaptive AMOLED display that combines button controls and touchscreen functionality. This model offers tactical, training, and performance features, along with wrist-based navigation and comprehensive health monitoring.
Key new features include a night vision-compatible flashlight, an enhanced heart rate sensor, and Red Shift mode, which changes the watch interface to red to preserve night vision and reduce sleep cycle disturbances.
The tactix 7 AMOLED Edition is built to military standards (MIL-STD-810) for durability, with a water rating of 10 ATM (100 meters/330 feet) and up to 31 days of battery life. It has a rugged design with a carbon gray DLC titanium bezel, scratch-resistant sapphire lens, and black tactical nylon QuickFit bands.
The smartwatch includes a multi-LED flashlight, Stealth Mode for wireless communication shutoff, and the option to unlock Applied Ballistic functionality for shooting sports.
The smartwatch offers comprehensive health and wellness tools like Pulse Ox, heart rate, and sleep monitoring, and features new tools for peak performance evaluation, including Endurance Score and Hill Score. Aviators can benefit from aviation-specific features like Direct-To-Navigation, weather updates, and Jumpmaster for airborne operations.
For navigation, the tactix 7 AMOLED Edition supports multi-band GPS and comes preloaded with various maps, including TopoActive maps and Public Land Boundaries Maps. It’s also compatible with Garmin’s Outdoor Maps+ service for premium mapping content.
