Premium die-cast brand G.C.D. Models, best known for its incredibly detailed, officially licensed 1:64 scale cars, trucks, and 4x4s, has partnered with Japanese luxury car accessories brand D.A.D (by GARSON, Osaka) for a dual-authorized transporter model: the GCD x D.A.D. 1/64 Mitsubishi Fuso. As you may have already noticed, this is no ordinary 1:64 scale Fuso. It is a blinged-out Fuso featuring no fewer than 2,800 Swarovski-certified crystals.
Beyond the fact that it is based on the maker’s existing 1:64 scale transporter and is practically covered in crystals—including D.A.D. branding formed entirely from them—not much else is known about this luxe collectible. What we do know is that it is a GCD Expo Limited Edition released at an auto expo in Shenzhen, with sales exclusive to the GCD booth. Only 198 pieces are available, each priced at 2,026 yuan (about US$293).
