GJS Robot Ganker EX Battle Robot

In Real Steel (DreamWorks, 2011), it depicted a future (2020) where human boxers are replaced by robots. As it turns out, not only that future is real, it came earlier. Meet the GJS Robot Ganker EX Battle Robot, the real-life Real Steel, well, kind of because, it is a lot smaller, or toy-size to be precise.

Left side shown with “armor” on and the right is in its “bare” form.

It may be tiny compared to Charlie, but this ain’t no child’s play. This is a super high-tech toy involving Real Steel-style man-machine synchronization. In other words, it mirrors the movements of the person controlling it. Nothing say it best like its official description and so here goes:

“This battle robot moves like a human via humanoid joint and motion capture technology. The design of the joystick controller is base on the structure, so it can fully and synchronously map the actions of the robot. With advanced space positioning synchronization technology and direct design, it is easy to controls the robot’s upper body, orientation, and movement.”

It comes with a sword to deal blows and a shield block incoming blows.

But don’t cast your phone aside yet. While you can’t control it with your smartphone, the phone serves as a display for critical parameters of your robot as it gets on in battle with a fellow Ganker EX Battle Robot (yeah, just like Real Steel!). Like, how cool is that?

Speaking of battle, it has an advanced electronic scoring system that can pick up real power force and infrared shooting. It has no less than 7 electronic scoring points spread across its body, each will flash and vibrate it receives a blow from your opponent. A damage algorithm calculates the damaged received and deducts the HP according. Now, tell me this is not an out-of-this-world high-tech toy.
