Prime 1 Studio Godzilla Minus One Godzilla vs. Shinsei-maru Statue
Prime 1 Studio has recreated one of Godzilla Minus One's most unforgettable scenes with a breathtaking Godzilla vs. Shinsei-maru diorama, complete with crashing waves, an underwater cross-section, and astonishing movie-accurate detail.

Let’s say you are a mega fan of Godzilla and can only own one Godzilla collectible. Well, before today, I would have said that would be a tough decision. But now, I can confidently say that if you can only buy one Godzilla collectible, it should be the Godzilla Minus One Godzilla vs. Shinsei-maru Statue from Prime 1 Studio.

Prime 1 Studio Godzilla Minus One Godzilla vs. Shinsei-maru Statue

Why? For starters, it is the only large-scale Godzilla statue to faithfully recreate the radioactive beast in the ocean—specifically during the unforgettable boat attack scene where Godzilla pursues the small wooden minesweeper, Shinsei-maru, for the award-winning Godzilla Minus One.

This statue/diorama depicts Godzilla partially submerged beneath the ocean surface, capturing both the world above and below the sea. Part of the ocean itself has been recreated, complete with dynamic translucent waves capped with sea foam as they crash against Godzilla. Only parts of the King of the Monsters break the surface. His head emerges on the left, while his long tail rises on the right. Between them, his iconic jagged dorsal plates protrude from the sea like a chain of rocky islands, creating the illusion that an entire archipelago is moving through the water.

Below the waterline is an equally impressive scene. It reveals Godzilla‘s enormous torso, with his legs trailing behind as he swims after the tiny vessel and its hysterical crew. Beneath the beast is a sculpted rocky formation, while bubbles rise along his body and around the base, suggesting movement through the water and adding life to the display. The rocky formation cleverly serves as the display base while creating the illusion that it has no connection to Godzilla whatsoever—which, of course, it actually does.

As far as Godzilla himself is concerned, he is about as screen-accurate as it gets, right down to the deeply sculpted reptilian scales and rugged textures. If the product photos and presentation video are anything to go by, even the paintwork appears remarkably faithful to the movie. You would be forgiven for mistaking the product photos for actual screenshots from Godzilla Minus One.

Part of Prime 1 Studio’s Ultimate Diorama Masterline series, the Godzilla Minus One Godzilla vs. Shinsei-maru measures 98 cm (38.6 inches) long and 49 cm (19.3 inches) tall.

Pre-orders for this mind-blowing Godzilla collectible will begin in the third quarter of 2026. Pricing has yet to be revealed, but one look at it is enough to tell you it will cost a fortune. Be prepared for a very poor version of yourself once the order books open.
