Google Pixel Buds A-Series TWS Earbuds

If the high price of Google Pixel Buds has prevented you from getting it, then here’s good news from Google. There is a pair of cheaper Google Pixel Buds now. Called Google Pixel Buds A-Series, it is the budget version of the Google’s TWS earbuds with the same quality minus some features that some people may not need.

Missing from this affordable version are wireless charging for the case and swipe controls for volume. Beyond that, it is pretty much the same Pixel Buds with custom-designed 12 mm dynamic drivers, passive noise reduction, and spatial vent for in-ear pressure reduction and spatial awareness.

Other features include support for “Hey Google” voice commands (obviously), IPX4 rated built, and an unspecific capacity battery that offers up to 5 hours of playtime, or up to 24 hours with the charging case.

Speaking battery life, the new TWS earbuds from Google has quick charge support which will get you three hours of use with just 15 minutes of charging. As far as aesthetic goes, it is identical to the regular, more expensive Pixel Buds.

And so, if you can do without wireless charging for the case and swipe control for volume, I’d say this US$99 Pixel Buds A-Series is a steal (Google speaks, of course). The Google Pixel Buds A-Series TWS Earbuds is available for pre-order in the U.S. and Canada, with availability on June 17. Availability in other region is to be advised.
