If you have been following us, you know that we usually don’t report that someone is dead, but we had to today. As you have read from the post title, former host of Mythbusters and Netflix’s White Rabbit Project, special FX model maker and roboticist, Grant Imahara, has died at 49.
Just not too long ago, we featured the talented former Imahara’s work on the animatronic Baby Yoda and his work on Disney’s “flying Spider-Man. That was just 3 months ago and all of sudden, we hear that he has been taken from us.
The cause of death was not formerly announced, but according to Hollywood Reporter, Grant died “suddenly following a brain aneurysm.” Grant’s death was confirmed by Discovery’s official statement issued on Monday. Our hearts go out to Grant Imahara’s family and friends. R.I.P. Grant.
