The Hasbro release of the Kenner’s classic The Real Ghostbusters toys are recommended for kids age 4 and up. But lets be honest, will today’s kids even know what the The Real Ghostbusters is? Obviously, no. So, the “for kids” label is really just a front; the real target market are the parents or anyone who grew up in the 80s, really.

Hasbro Kenner 80s Ghostbusters Toys

The Kenner’s classic The Real Ghostbusters toys are based on the animated series was aired between 1986 and 1990. The animated series was a spin off from the 1984 comedy horror that is now a classic loved by many (not sure if it was really that good or just because of nostalgia).

Not going to lie. I never watch a single episode of the series (or may be I had?), but the animated styling really sells.

The collection include the iconic Ecto-1, Fearsome Flush (aka the haunted toilet) and Bug-Eye, the two plus one giant-ass eye creature. For those who are interested, you may find them on Walmart.

However, we are unable to locate the Fearsome Flush (which is super cool, btw). The Big-Eye Ghost is available, priced at US$14.92 a pop while the Ecto-1 Retro is available for pre-order for US$39.97 a piece, with shipping slated to happen by August 03, 2021.
