Concealable firearms with the love for 7.62 caliber (what are the odds? Really) will be glad that Heizer Defense will be introducing yet another pocket pistol that chambers 7.62x39mm cartridge, which is the same ammunition used in AK47. Affectionately called Pocket AK Pistol, the new PAK1 boasts the same snag-free design with smooth rounded edges as the rest of the concealable pocket pistol introduced by the US-based firearms manufacturer. Like the rest of its family, the PAK1 is a multi-caliber pistol with interchangeable barrels, allowing it to be swapped out for those chambered for .223 Rem. and .45 Long Colt/.410 bore.
Heizer Defense said accessory barrels will be shipping along with the PAK1 “Pocket AK” very soon and enthusiasts can look forward to acquiring any Heizer Defense Pistol with two additional calibers to choose from. On top of that, the company also promised additional calibers will be offered throughout 2015. So look out for them, though we are curious how many more variation the company can come out with.
The PAK1 Pocket AK Pistol joins Heizer Defense’s other pocket pistol family, including the PS1 Pocket Shotgun and the PAR1 Pocket AR (the world’s first pocket AR 14 pistol) and the Hedy Jane Empowered line, geared for women, and will be making its debut at the NRA Show in Nashville, Tennessee, happening between April 9 and 12, 2015. As of now, price is yet to be announced.
