when we talked about shotgun, the first thing that comes to mind would be 12-gauge and definitely not something that could be slipped into your pocket – not unless it is the Heizer Defense PS1 Pocket Shotgun Pistol. well, maybe it is not the buckshot or slug kind of shotgun you might have expected, but still it is a ‘shotgun’ nonetheless and it is totally pocketable, which makes it an ideal survival gun for those heading out to the woods and not wished to be weighed down by heavier firearms. crafted from aerospace-grade stainless steel or titanium, the PS1 has a snag-free design with rounded edges, making it an ultimate concealable firearm.

it is designed to chamber .45 long colt aka the 410 rounds and has a storage compartment at the bottom of the handle for two .45 long colt rounds, cleaning kit, or whatever you deem necessary to be in there. cash, perhaps? not quite a good idea, eh? pulling out a gun to retrieve cash from it is a signal for trouble. another noteworthy mention is the handle, which is actually designed by a doctor to take the recoil into the skeleton of the firer’s body and that, together with the low bore axis design greatly minimize the recoil on this pistol. a couple of other features include a built-in extractor for quick switch around and maintenance-free roller bearing trigger mechanism.

the Heizer Defense PS1 Pocket Shotgun Pistol is made in the USA and can be purchased (in Stateside, naturally) at your local gun stores for around $499.
