Honda Corridon Project: A Pokemon Motorcycle

For years, fans have dreamed of riding Pokémon like in the games. Now, thanks to Honda, that dream is becoming (sort of) real. Meet the Honda Corridon, a life-sized rideable version of Koraidon, the legendary Pokémon from Pokémon Scarlet. This Pokémon motorcycle was developed in collaboration with The Pokémon Company and was on display at Honda Welcome Plaza Aoyama from March 7-9, 2025.

Honda Corridon Project: A Pokemon Motorcycle

This isn’t just a static showpiece. Honda’s engineers, using their expertise in robotics and balance control (think ASIMO and Honda Riding Assist), are working to make Corridon self-balancing and capable of four-legged walking—just like Koraidon in Pokémon Scarlet. The goal? To bring Koraidon’s Sprint Form (shissou keitai) to life, allowing riders to sit atop a moving, fully animated Pokémon-inspired machine. Future iterations may even have moving limbs, facial expressions, and independent eye movement for extra personality.

If this sounds familiar, it’s because Toyota previously created a rideable Miraidon (the futuristic counterpart from Pokémon Violet), which inspired Honda to take a crack at its own Pokémon mobility project. With Honda’s expertise in motorcycles, it only made sense to develop a Koraidon that stays true to its game-world counterpart—just, you know, with more street-legal sensibilities (for now).

While it won’t be roaming city streets just yet, the Honda Corridon is proof that Pokémon-inspired mobility isn’t just a pipe dream. Whether it ever becomes something you can actually ride to work, well… we’ll have to see. Until then, we’ll settle for staring at it in awe [JP] at Honda Welcome Plaza Aoyama.
