It has been a while since I was truly excited with any Hot Toys new releases. Yes. I admit. I did get a little ga-ga over the life-size Nano Gauntlet and a few other stuff, but this, the Avengers: Endgame Rescue 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure, really had me at hello. Why? Because, it looks cool? The cool credit is not all in the suit; it is also because it has a head sculpt of Gwyneth Paltrow. Did you get that? Gwyneth Paltrow! Man, I really have take my excitement down a notch.
The Rescue Suit was worn by Pepper Potts when she joined the earth mightiest heroes in the final battle against Thanos and his villainous army in the Avengers: Endgame. Here are the details:
• 2 interchangeable head sculpts including:
⁃ a newly painted head sculpt with removable mask
⁃ interchangeable helmeted head with LED light-up function
• Metallic lavender blue, champagne gold and silver armor
• 16 LED light-up points shine throughout various areas of armor
• Multiple pairs of interchangeable hands
• 3 pairs of articulated air flaps at the back of the armor
• 1 detachable chest armor to reveal interior mechanical design
• 30 points of articulation
• Enhanced articulations on was it armor which allow flexible movement
• About 31 centimeters (12 inches) tall
• Model contains diecast material
• Accessories:
⁃ 1 x long drone
⁃ 1 x short drone
⁃ 1 x “real-life thrust fire effect accessory attachable to short drone
• Avengers: Endgame character themed dynamic figure with movie logo
The Hot Toys Avengers: Endgame Rescue 1/6th Scale Collectible is expected to arrive in Q1-Q2, 2021, which is an awfully long, painful wait, TBH. It should be up for pre-order with your favorite Hot Toys authorized retailers soon. Speaking of which, we just found out that it is actually available for pre-order on Sideshow for $407.
In a related news, Hot Toys has also announced the life-size version of the Hulk version of the Nano Gauntlet which we previously thought will only available in 1/4th scale. Features of the Avengers: Endgame Nano Gauntlet (Hulk Version) Life-size Collectible are as follows:
• Based on Nano Gauntlet wielded by Hulk in the movie
• Movie accurate size and proportion
• Around 70 centimeters (27.5 inches) tall including base
• Specially applied metallic red, silver and gold finishes
• LED light up Infinity Stones with 2 lighting modes: constant and pulsating
• Specially designed custom base with movie logo
The Hot Toys Avengers: Endgame Nano Gauntlet (Hulk Version) Life-size Collectible is expected to hit the shelves sometime in Q4, 2020-Q1, 2021. Again, a very painfully long wait. But that’s how it is with Hot Toys collectibles. Pre-order for the Hot Toys Avengers: Endgame Nano Gauntlet (Hulk Version) Life-size Collectible is already available at some retailers, including Sideshow which is selling it at $575. Is it just me or Hot Toys’ collectibles are getting pricer by the day?
