Most people know Cey Adams as the founding creative director of Def Jam Recordings and as a visual artist who is at the forefront of the American hip-hop culture but not many know that this man is also a Hot Wheels fanatic. How fanatic you ask? Well, Cey has a gallery show in Boston featuring his Hot Wheels sculpture.
To mark Cey’s show, Hot Wheels have partnered with the artist for a limited-edition Hot Wheels Cey Adams “LOVE” 70’s Van. As you may have already noticed, the Hot Wheels Cey Adams “LOVE” 70’s Van brings one of his most famous murals to the miniature die-cast collectible, with Cey’s signature tag across the back doors.
Each Hot Wheels Cey Adams “LOVE” 70’s Van Die-cast Collectible will come with a specially designed card backer art – enclosed in a Kar Keepers clamshell case – along with a Certificate of Authenticity. The special packaging is also designed by the man himself.
The Hot Wheels Cey Adams “LOVE” 70’s Van Die-cast Collectible will sell for US$30 a pop when it goes on sale on creations.mattel.com on October 07, 2022, at 9 AM PT.
