Coming from Iron Studios is the Moon Knight Art Scale 1/10 Statue, this 11.8 inches (30 cm) tall polystone statue is based on the superhero with supernatural power’s first live-action appearance (to much acclaim, if we may add).
For those who are not familiar with Moon Knight, he is one of the characters within Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift shop employee, who has Dissociative Identify Disorder (DID).
It is a complex character because Moon Knight IS NOT Steven Grant. Moon Knight is an ex-military person, Marc Spector’s alter-ego imbued with the powers of Khonshu, the Egyptian moon god and he resides within Grant as one of the characters of his DID.
Yes. One of. Because there are other characters living withing Grant. Sounds mind-blowing? Well, we did say it is a very complex character.
It is one superhero whose grounded character has no control of his superhero persona, and to some extent, even Marc does not have full control. I mean, he is, after all, an avatar to the moon god.
Moon Knight is like (non-billionaire) Batman but with superpower. Like Batman, he also digs moving in the shadows and standing atop buildings, which this collectible statue accurately depicts.
Unlike Hot Toys’, the Iron Studios Moon Knight Art Scale 1/10 Statue will be released as soon as Q4 2022. Eager fans can secure a copy as we speak for US$159.99. I got to say, it is way more affordable than HT’s and polystone is definitely way more durable than plastics. Just saying…
