Ever wanted to get into NFT but worried that it will go poof overnight? (though it probably will not). Well, here’s one NFT that, knock on wood, if it becomes nothing, you will still have a physical item in your name. Folks, this is the 1:1 NFT and the last Lamborghini Aventador Coupé ever produced, the LP 780-4 Ultimae Coupé.
The two will be auctioned as a lot by RM Sotheby’s, making it the world’s first one-of-one NFT ever to be auctioned with a physical super sports car. This is a good way to get started with NFT, IMHO since there is at least a physical product that can touch, or in this case, drive.
The NFT is a collaborative product between Automobili Lamborghini, renowned creators Krista Kim, Steve Aoki, and [INVNT GROUP].
In addition, to creating the visual artwork for the NFT digital companion, Krista Kim also lent her signature gradients on the exterior and interior of the one-of-a-kind physical car.
Meanwhile, Steve Aoki created the bespoke track for the NFT, an exclusive soundtrack for the physical car, and served as a consultant for the design of the NFT as well as the physical car.
The buyer, aka the winner of the auction, will own the digital replica (GLB file) of the Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae Coupé – the first Lamborghini car for the metaverse. Though it is not the first NFT from Lamborghini.
In addition, the buyer will be granted access to VIP utilities, including exclusive virtual previews of future limited edition Lamborghini models, a private tour of the Museo Lamborghini, and a virtual ‘Meet & Greet’ with Steve Aoki and Krista Kim, and more.
The NFT and exclusive Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae Coupé will be auctioned by RM Sotheby’s on April 19, 6:00 PM CET/12:00 PM EST. Meanwhile, you can learn more HERE.
