Jurassic Park Dr. Ian Malcolm Statue

Jeff Goldblum is a familiar face in Hollywood. For many, he is best remembered for his role in the original Jurassic Park franchise. Mostly because of the scene where he was almost shirtless and resting on a rug or something like minutes after attached by a T-Rex. For me, I always remember Goldblum as the man fly. Man, that movie was absolutely gross and so, I guess it is better to remember this Hollywood actor as the shirtless dude than remembering him as The Fly.

Anywho, if you are a fan of Jurassic Park, or better yet, a fan of the man himself, then you will want this Jurassic Park Dr. Ian Malcolm Statue. Why? It is like a meme, but in 3D. Nah. Just kidding. This isn’t a meme. It is the iconic scene of Dr. Ian Malcolm lying down with his shirt unbuttoned, immortalized in polyresin as a limited edition 1:4 scale statue. As with other Chronicle Collectibles’ creations, it has a crazy amount of details, ranging from the incredible likeness to the actor himself to the bandages on the leg to the specks of blood on his chest and hand.

The only thing this statue lacks is, IMHO, the gleaming shine on his body because of sweat. If that’s thrown in, I’d be very impressed. Though, I am not a huge fan of him. Not him in this movie or at least, not this particular scene anyways. Jurassic Park Dr. Ian Malcolm Statue is presented with a scene-specific base with a cutaway revealing dinosaur fossils buried beneath. The combination of Jeff Goldblum’s iconic scene cast in polyresin and a base diameter measuring 18 inches (it is huge!), this Jurassic Park collectible is going to be conversational piece.
