Another Evangelion has been turned into foot protective gear. Joining the Lowfool // League of Steel (EV03) is the Lowfool League of Steel (EV05). For this figure, Fools Paradise took inspiration from the episode where EVA Unit-01 was awakening during a showdown with the 14th Angel Zeruel.
The EVA’s iconic armor has been turned into football protective gear but this time the left arm is without protection to replicate the EVA Unit-01’s severed arm that has regenerated in the series. As a nod to the awakened Unit-01, the football protective is finished in purple with recent accents, and the exposed arm is glow-in-the-dark mimicking the glowing arm when it first regenerated.
As before, EVA Unit-01 one head has been repurposed into a helmet that probably no players want to go head to head with. Also as before, it comes with a futuristic football, this time with the centerpiece in luminous green. The same luminous green can also be found on the glove on the right hand.
It is a good figure that serves as a fun homage to the iconic bio-mecha from one of the memorable scenes in the entire series. The figure stands about 480 mm tall (18.9 inches).
