Famed Spanish porcelain maker LLADRÓ’s Japanese business just elevated the stature of Darth Vader. Jumping in on the Star Wars Celebration, LLADRÓ Japan Co., Ltd. has unveiled the classiest—and possibly the most luxe—Darth Vader collectible ever: the Darth Vader Cherry Blossom Porcelain Statue, aka Darth Vader (Sakura).

I know. The name Darth Vader has zero association with cherry blossoms, let alone imagining the Sith Lord dressed in white. But here we are: a beautiful, super luxe, super artsy Darth Vader Cherry Blossom Porcelain Statue.
This Darth Vader (Sakura) is a white porcelain piece featuring a cape decorated with 80 delicate flowers blooming on tree branches, set against a red circle from the Japanese flag, with a silhouette of Mount Fuji in the center. And mind you, those “flowers” aren’t just painted on like the red sun and branches; they are tiny, hand-sculpted porcelain works of art. Absolutely gorgeous! The floral artistry isn’t just on the outside either—you’ll find it on the inside, on the left side of the cape, too.
This isn’t the first porcelain Darth Vader from LLADRÓ Japan Co., Ltd.; previously, the porcelain goods maker released a Jet Black version in 2022, followed by a gold variant in 2023. Sadly, both are long gone, but it looks like the Darth Vader (Sakura) is still available in Japan. However, we noticed LLADRÓ Japan Co., Ltd.’s webstore doesn’t seem to have a “BUY” button. Am I missing something here?
Anyhoo, sales started on April 18, and it is limited to just 88 pieces worldwide. So it’s probably already sold out despite its hefty sticker price of 901,000 yen (about US$6,274). It’s a pre-order, and folks who managed to snag one can expect shipping to start on July 31. Keep going to steal a few more looks at this beautiful Darth Vader collectible.
