Ken Block Takes On Pikes Peak with Hoonicorn V2

In the latest in the Gymkhana series, Ken Block and Hoonigan Racing, in conjunction with Toyo Tires, takes Gymkhana to an even higher level, like quite literally. In this latest instalment, celebrity rally driver Ken Block got behind the wheels of a 1,400 horsepower, twin-turbo methanol-fueled 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn RTR V2, rolling on Toyo Proxes R888R tires, up the legendary 14,000 feet (4,267 meters) Colorado’s Pikes Peak. The result? A lot of smoke and backfire… on the hood (so, does this make it a front fire, instead?). Yes. On the hood!

As expected, you get to witness shit load of burnouts, customary Block-o-nuts (donuts), rally-style drifting around Pikes Peak’s unforgiving hairpin turns, plus Block putting himself and the sweet angry ride on precarious situations. Exciting! Thanks to modern drone technology and advancement in action cams, racing fanatics will be treated to an exhilarating ride up the peak in Full High Definition. Seriously, no self-respecting racing fanatics and/or car nuts should miss this. Trust me, if you are feeling down and out this mid week, this video will invigorate you! Well, at least, kind of did for me. The visual was spectacular and so was the audio (music to my ears!).
