The mention of Hoonigan’s Gymkhana series, the name Ken Block pops up. Well, not anymore. Subaru Motorsports USA driver Travis Pastrana is taking over the wheel along with this: the Subaru Gymkhana STI, a custom-built Subaru WRX STI based on a production sedan.
Other motorsports have already gotten into electric races and now, it is finally rallycross’ turn – specifically, the FIA’s new World Rallycross Project E race series. What you see here is race car driver Ken Block‘s ride for the series.
Remember Ken Block’s Hoonicorn? Well, what you see here could be its successor, the Hoonifox. What makes this new Hoonigan ride so special is, it was penned by Ash Thorp, the designer of the new Batmobile – the one Robert Pattinson will be rolling to fight crimes in the new Batman movie.
